The Victorian Sliders manufacturing process

Our South Wales factory is home to nine high-tech extrusion lines. Using the latest technology and high-tech machinery, we produce precision engineered PVCu windows for Ireland and UK trade customers. Once the window profiles are extruded, they are cut to size and drilled using automated Shirmer machines that ensure the most accurate measurements are achieved. From here, the windows’ corners are welded into position using nine Urban welders with run-through sash horns incorporated into the window frame where required.

Professional glazing and window fabrication

The Victorian Sliders factory is equipped with its own on-site glass shop. From here, we produce our own IGU A-rated double-glazed units. Every glass pane is cut to size on site and passed through a toughening process to maximise strength and durability. We also have the capacity to add Argon gas to the sealed unit to enhance the thermal performance of the window unit.

Once the window unit is glazed and sealed, it must pass through quality control and final assembly. Our team of glazing experts have extensive experience within the window manufacturing industry. At this stage, they are responsible for assembling the windows, inserting wool pile, attaching all hardware, and completing a final quality control examination.

Streamlined logistics for super-fast delivery

Once our PVCu sash windows are ready to be supplied, they are distributed directly from our South Wales factory to our six strategically located regional depots. Our fleet of HGV vehicles deliver bulk orders of PVCu windows to sites across Ireland, England, and Scotland. From our regional depots, we then use Sprinter vans to deliver our windows to trade customers quickly and efficiently to ensure that all their installation deadlines are met on time.
